Planning for my Music Video

Song Title:
The song I've chosen is My Future by Billie Eilish.

Props:
As for props, they may change over the course of filming based on what looks best. As for now, I will use the LED lights and a 'galaxy' light I have in order to stay loyal to some conventions I've researched. Also, I will be using a mirror and a hairbrush. (Again, these things may change and I will document that need be.)

Costumes:
As for costumes, there will be business casual clothing in some scenes and pajamas in other scenes.

Location:
Everything will be filmed inside of my house.

Sets:
Most of the scenes will be filmed inside of my room. If it meets the time requirements, I will branch out to other places in the house, such as the kitchen, bathroom, and/or the living room.

Schedule:
11/13: I've researched conventions for my genre. I will take into account which conventions I will use in the production process, as well as the ones I will challenge.

11/16-11/17: I will formally plan for my music video and pull together ideas to make my video visually appealing.

11/19-11/20: I will storyboard each part of my music video. This is where I will chop up the time slots to make sure everything flows smoothly when filming and editing. Something I've learned from my last project when I had trouble with the duration.

11/21-11/29: Between these times I will work out when the people in my video will be free to film. Here, I will make sure all shots are under the correct duration and re-film if needed.

12/1-12/6: I will edit the video to my liking.

Backup Plan:
If there's something wrong where I can't use the song I've chosen, I will then use Eternal Sunshine by Jhene Aiko. I will re-storyboard and film my mother doing things she loves, in short segments, showcasing the things she loves in life. This would of ours go with the song, since the main lyrics are about the "good things" in life.  Also, if my friend isn't free to be in my video, I will figure out a way to have my mom film me as a replacement for the shots she was supposed to be in.

See you in the next one!
