Planning for the final task: location, health, schedule, & more


Schedule:
3/18/21:I will be setting up/cleaning up to make sure my house is “film-ready.” 
3/19-21/21: I will be making sure all of my tech and software is ready w/o any problems.
3/22-23/21: I will be officially filming most of the opening w/in these days. 
3/24-26/21: I will be filming any voice overs and anything I did not get to finish filming. I will also be starting the editing process. 
3/27-29/21: I will finish editing everything w/in these days. 
3/30/21: I will be doing any final small corrections/editing + peer review. Shortly after, it will be sent into canvas. 

 Locations: I will be filming everything at my house.

To ensure our safety, my parents will act as a “safety team” by providing supervision will filming. They will be on stand by to make sure there is no sharp objects around that we could fall over on. They will also provide any masks, emergency kits, & other safety measures to stay safe. After and before filming we will also quarantine for 2 weeks just to be extra safe. We will be taking extreme Covid-19 precautions. We will be washing and sanitizing our hands. The rooms will also be sanitized and thoroughly cleaned before & during filming. Anyone not needed to film will be removed from the house and will wear their surgical masks. In between filming everyone will also wear their masks. For example, while I record, I will be wearing my mask at all times. Actors that are not in a scene will also be in different parts of the house to stay 6 feet apart.

Editing is not my absolute favorite part of filmmaking as of now. I only say this because I'm not very good at it yet and that bothers me. When I watch movies made by famous filmmakers I'm always quick to appreciate its editing. But, after editing a project myself, I understand how hard editing can be. Finding props for the final task

 My next task is to find props for the final task. The main thing I had to get was a few photo copies from my local Walgreens. Minor things I had to get were cereal boxes, picture frames, etc. As for the photo copies, there was a bit of difficulty finding a place to print them. Before I learned that I could print them at a convenience store, I had no idea where to go. First, I tried printing them at my house. But, on regular printer paper. This was a total fail. My printer barely had any colored ink and the picture came out black and white. It also came out with very low quality and very pixelated. So, I had to do a bit of searching on the internet. I needed to find out where I could get the best quality pictures for a low price. I went on a few websites, but all of the pricing was too high. Then i went looking in my local area.  Hello to anyone out there reading this. My name is Taelor Barnes and I am a 16 year old. I have an older sister and a dog that has grew up with me since my parents first got her when I was 6. Academically, I am in the eleventh grade at Fort Lauderdale high school. Since ninth grade I have been waiting to take this class; it is one of the most intriguing courses I've heard about and discussed with my guidance counselor. Many of my friends have taken it in prior to the 2020/2021 school year and they have only had good things to say about it.
